Purchasing a REAL Christmas tree this year is a great way to help support our Western NC Farmer partners who have experienced great hardship due to the hurricane devastation. Plus, nothing fills your home with the Chritmas spirit like the smell of a real NC Fraser Fir! We have sizes ranging from tabletop to 13+ft.

Located in Knightdale, NC and just a short drive from surrounding towns such as Wendell, Zebulon, Clayton, and Raleigh, NC, Grasshopper Farms NC is a local plant nursery, flower nursery, strawberry farm, and ice cream shop with fun for the whole family! On the farm you'll find Christmas trees & wreaths in the winter, pumpkins with a 4-acre corn maze in the fall, fresh produce & strawberry picking in the spring and summer, as well as an ice cream shop open year round. Strike it rich in FUN anytime of year with Gemstone Mining or romp around on our huge playground! You can visit us anytime during the year and expect to find what you’re looking for. We even have a great assortment of plants, shrubs, perennials, and annuals at our plant nursery that are perfect for your gardening, landscaping, and porch decorating needs.
At Grasshopper Farms NC, we’re proud of the fact that people come from all over Knightdale, Wendell, Zebulon, Clayton, and Raleigh, NC to visit our Christmas tree farm and flower nursery for local produce, as well as a fun day outdoors! Come see us today and explore our "u-pick" strawberry picking fields, corn maze, or plant farm depending on the time of the year! Our ice cream shop is open year-round and features a REAL ice cream made from natural ingredients in a local creamery. Our playground and amusement area are open year-round & make for an ideal location to host birthday parties, youth group outings, our family gatherings!

The Past, Preserved
The store at Grasshopper Farms NC has a history that reaches back to the 1890s. Originally an old country store, the building had suffered years of decay until we purchased it in 2020. After lovingly restoring the structure, we’re happy to welcome you to visit and get a glimpse into the past!
